WebMission : Meet The Belgians in the Valley!

What is a Webmission

A Webmission is a delegation of Belgian Web, Tech & Mobile entrepreneurs that travel abroad to promote their companies and to network, taking advantage of an international Internet/Tech event and the secondary happenings around it.

Mission: Promote Belgian Web, Tech & Mobile entrepreneurship abroad, by increasing its visibility and international network. –

History

Webmission 1: Google I/O (San Francisco, USA) - May 2009

Webmission 2: Evento Blog España 09 (Sevilla, Spain) - November 2009

Webmission 3: Google I/O (San Francisco, USA) - May 2010

Webmission San Francisco May 2011

Taking advantage of this year's Google I/0 event (10-11/05), We are organizing a new Webmission for Belgian entrepreneurs, journalists bloggers and Internet, mobile and tech enthusiasts, interested in promoting themselves in the US markets. This is a great opportunity to present Belgian startups and their products & services to the Silicon Valley audience, to extend networks, and to open up to new ideas.

Organization

This is not an organized tour, so every participant is the master of his/her own agenda. You can decide to share or keep for yourself as much as you want. If you organize a meeting with a company and that you are ok to have others join you, you can just post a note in this page.

We are currently organizing a kind of Beta Group event “The Belgians are back” in collaboration with tbd.

You can contact us at

A lot of people are helping in this effort. If you want to cooperate in the organization you are more than welcome: What part of the organization would you like to own?.

We are also looking for partners, your help is more than welcome!
